We had a FANTASTIC TIME — with a zoo of ham radio operators and the general public showing up! I think we had five or six stations total. Ron Lewis took the time to enter ALL of our Contacts into both the FL POTA upload AND the Parks on the Air Upload.
I saw a ton of “rust” being knocked off of people’s voice skills. I saw Angela learn how to do WSJT-X FT8 — and then teach Dory who proceeded to fill TWO PAGES of log sheet! Amazing!
We fixed all kinds of PROBLEMS. RFI problems for Jim Carr, generator problems, antenna problems — we got a LOT DONE!! It was a great training exercise. I sent thank you notes to the two newspapers that advertised us.
