Our local Amateur Radio Emergency Service is pleased to be able to invite anyone interested to visit our 2026 FIELD DAY location and see how we prepare for volunteer disaster communications, and how YOU can get your own license to join this amazing hobby!
Visiting Hours: Saturday June 27 4 PM – 7PM
Location: We’re at a private home in northwest Gainesville, at the west end of 39th Avenue NW, 3 miles past I-75. The exact address is a Newberry address: 15216 NW 41st Avenue, Newberry FL. The subdivision is STEEPLECHASE FARMS, and we will have the gates opened between 4 PM and 7 PM that Saturday. Drive all the way to the end and then park anywhere on the circular concrete driveway.
There will be someone there to greet you as you arrive.
